Radial Shockwave Therapy (RSWT) is an FDA cleared technology proven to increase the rate of healing for chronic foot, heel and ankle pain. It is a painless, non-invasive, drug free treatment method that enhances blood circulation and accelerates the healing process causing damaged tissue to gradually regenerate.

RSWT works by causing microtrauma or a new inflammatory condition to the treated area. When chronic pain is present, the body no longer recognizes that there is an injury to that area and it shuts down the healing process. As a result, you feel no relief in your painful symptoms. The ballistic sound waves of RSWT will penetrate deep through your soft tissue causing a new injury in the area treated. Once this occurs, it triggers your body’s natural healing response once again. Cells in the soft tissues will also release certain bio-chemicals that allow for the building of an array of new microscopic blood vessels in the soft tissue that will intensify the body’s natural healing process.
